I'm not worried at all。

Hillary for America
Post Office Box 5256
New York, NY 10185-5256

We will not move away. We will not be ashamed to be Americans. We will fight. Half of our country voted with us. And the half who didn't were scared to death. Scared of terrorism and poverty and change. Scared of letting a woman hold power. Racism is fear. Homophobia is fear. Misogyny is fear. It's awful to live in that much fear. Fear makes you do terrible things. Donald Trump ran on the Music Man's platform. "We got trouble! Right here in River City!" Fear sells. But Love Wins. Eight years of Obama have allowed us complacency. We no longer have that privilege. We will stay. We will get up. We will help where help is needed. We will offer money and a helping hand anywhere we can. We will hold our daughters and sons close. We will tell them we love them and that sometimes, life is painfully despairingly disappointing. But we survive. We fight. We love. Where walls are built, we help people climb them or knock them down. We are Harry Potter and Ron and Hermione. Voldemort doesn't win. He doesn't win because when it gets dark, we bring the light.
I was going to call in sick today. Because I am literally sick to my stomach about the state of America. I am a woman, I am black and I am a recent immigrant. I am what it appears America doesn't want. But I decided to rock my modern day pant suit and get to work not only for Hillary but for all the women who came before me! I am still with her and ready to work for a new America!

Let's not kid ourselves. It's racial revenge. It's a number's game. To be honest, I don't think the racial relations in America has improved noticeably in the past 24 years I've been here, despite electing a black president, twice. On the ground, it might be even worse than 1993.

George W. Bush's second victory was driven by fear. Trump's victory is driven by hate. People don't like to talk about it, but it's true. Hate is an extremely powerful motivation. It would be interesting to see how white people will govern the country now, because it's not like the oligarchs will share the wealth with people who have voted for them.

European Union.

:crying:
America is not the country I thought it was. I love my country, for all of its flaws, I think we have it better than anyone else. I still do even tonight. My parents are immigrants from Taiwan, and they always told me that their adopted home was the best place in the world because it believed in freedom, equality and justice. Their parents had fled communist China, where they would have been jailed or worse because their families owned land. In America, they told me that you can be whatever you want – that people are free to pursue their dreams and you can go as far as your abilities, work ethic and, yes, luck will take you. But at least you get the chance. And America was great because it welcomed immigrants, it welcomed them when they had nothing, and it welcomed their children. My parents and I love this country. This is our home.

My dad hung a big American flag outside our garage door every Fourth of July and Memorial Day, and explained to me that America was a force for good in the world, that in the 1950s, the U.S. 7th Fleet prevented communist China from invading Taiwan. My parents were both engineers for aerospace companies with security clearances, developing technologies that were used to defend our country during the Cold War and beyond. They certainly faced racism, but, at its core, America embraced them. My parents were naturalized citizens whose skills and contributions were recognized and valued. They would take us to national parks including Yosemite and Yellowstone when we were young and talk about how amazing our country was and how lucky we were to be American. And they always voted Republican. Hillary Clinton was the first Democrat for president I think they ever voted for. Republicans stood for small government and lower taxes, a strong national defense and conservative cultural values that appeal to many Asian immigrants. On the other hand, Bill Clinton was a disgraceful president that brought shame to the White House and the country. But this year they recognized that Trump and so many of his supporters stood for something else – a vision of America of some idealized, whitewashed world where everyone speaks English, sublimates their culture in favor of Americanism and stops making real Americans uncomfortable.

I always thought growing up that I was an all-American kid, just not in the way that old-timey films like It’s a Wonderful Life imagine. I was born in Southern California, but I didn’t lose my Chinese heritage. My family took off our shoes at home, we visited our grandparents’ graves every year for Chinese New Year (by the way, all four of my grandparents immigrated to the United States and naturalized too, and they are all buried here), my sister and I went to Chinese school on Saturdays and we weren’t allowed to date until college. But I played football at recess, ate afternoon snacks of apple sauce, crinkle cut fries and grilled cheese sandwiches, watched Full House after school and went to prom. I was proud of America’s history – my history. I loved the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg address. I loved that we invented the automobile, the airplane, the telephone and the Internet. This was my history. And I felt intense shame that we committed genocide against Native Americans, that we enslaved African-Americans, memorialized it in the Constitution, and then denied them their civil rights for generations, that we interned Japanese-Americans and prohibited Chinese immigration into the United States for over 60 years through the aptly named Chinese Exclusion Act. That was my history, too – because America is my country. I didn’t think that those were acts committed by long-dead white men who I had no connection to. No, I’m an American so my birthright is all of it, the good and the bad.

Trump’s election tells me that my country, my home, is not the place that I thought it was. It means that millions and millions of people (whether it’s 50%+1 or not), and enough to determine the presidency, think that I, like Judge Gonzalo Curiel, will never be truly American by virtue of my heritage. That my immigrant wife is suspect. That my children are suspect. That we are permanent foreigners. It means that they’re not comfortable that people move here and don’t learn English. They’re not comfortable that food that I love smells and looks disgusting and, oh my god, is that a duck head on the plate? It means that millions of people who I thought never questioned the fact that I was just as American as them think that Asians study too much, steal their jobs, and make life worse for Americans, and that maybe they feel a twinge of loyalty to China or wherever else they come from. It means that we’re not in this together. America for Americans, and that means not you, Justin.

There are probably Trump supporters who will feel joy that I finally got the message, but I hope there are more who feel at least a little empathy and see why a Trump presidency will be so painful for so many.

And there are millions of Americans who rejected Trump’s message. George W. Bush was a decent man. He told us that Islam was a religion of peace and said that we’re “a nation of immigrants, and we must uphold that tradition, which has strengthened our country in so many ways.” My congressman growing up was Ed Royce, and he would come to Chinese New Year’s celebrations and engaged with and supported the Asian-American community in his district. He is a Republican, and he said he would vote for Trump, so I don’t know what to think anymore. And millions of people voted for Hillary Clinton because they accept that inclusiveness has value, civility has value, and that one of America’s greatest strengths was that we are not a racial monolith, but that we can welcome and learn from people from every religion, ethnicity and culture. So I’m not giving up, but this is a low point for me when I think about the prospects for our country and for my children. It’s like no other political event I’ve experienced.

My heart is breaking not because I think Trump will fail to defend our NATO allies, authorize war crimes, succeed in establishing a deportation force to destroy families, or erode the First Amendment as he’s suggested. My heart is breaking because my countrymen are telling me, unmistakably, that the American dream is not for people like me.

我觉得people who claim they're independent or democratic and look at flaws of Hillary through magnifying glasses instead of looking at fundamental wrongs of trump elected a racist, sexist person to be the next president. It's quite similar to how hitler got power.

No way!

昨天结果还没有最终出来usa today就有新闻说, how can the poll be so off。

早上听Tim Cain和HRC的讲话很为他们难过,they fought so hard。

或者both.
